Probably the best village in the world
We realise that moving can be a very stressful time and we hope that all went as smoothly as possible. We are sure you have much to do, but when you have a spare five minutes perhaps you would like to:
1. Read the Welcome Letter from our Chair, Cllr David Brinkley.
2. Sign up for the 'Bucklesham Bugle Bulletin' email alerts. This is a news distribution service run by the Parish Council. Simply send an email to the Parish Council Clerk at clerk@buckleshamparishcouncil.gov.uk asking to be signed up.
3. Take a look at our village newsletter, the Bucklesham Bugle. This newsletter will be delivered to your door free of charge four times a year: New Year (January), Spring (April), Summer (July), and Autumn (October). You can also read a copy online. In the Bugle you will find interesting village News, details of all Clubs and Societies, and any forthcoming village events. To save on paper and printing costs many villagers choose to have their Bugle delivered via email. To arrange this please contact the Parish Council Clerk at clerk@buckleshamparishcouncil.gov.uk
4. Explore this website. You will find details of Bucklesham Parish Council including when, where and how we meet, details of our Agendas and Minutes, and how to Report Problems in the village such as potholes and overgrown hedges along footpaths. You can also find out more about St Mary's Church, Bucklesham Past, Clubs and Societies, Village Amenities, and Places to Visit.
As you can see, Bucklesham is a very active village and we look forward to meeting up with you soon.
If you can't find what you want on this website or in the Bugle, please call the Parish Council Clerk, Ruth Johnson, on 07854 712 734 or 01473 655149, or email clerk@buckleshamparishcouncil.gov.uk
Oh, and 'Bin Day' is Friday!
