At the Bucklesham Village Hall Annual General Meeting on 8th April 2026, the Village Hall Committee agreed that Bucklesham Parish Council would become Sole Trustees of the Hall. Working as a sub-committee of the Parish Council, the Committee will continue to manage the Hall on a day to day basis, with the Parish Council taking overall responsibility and liability. 

The Resolution was proposed by long-standing Committee member Evelyn Bloomfield, whose father gave the land to the Village for the original Hall to be built way back in 1950.
