Bucklesham Parish Council invite all Villagers to a Public Meeting to Discuss a
At the Parish Council meeting of 7th September 2017, the Parish Council was approached by Mr John Lefever of Hastoe Housing Association. Hastoe have been asked to develop a Rural Exception Scheme on a site that Suffolk Coastal District Council has identified, and agreed terms to obtain an option on, for a development of new affordable, environmentally sustainable houses in Bucklesham.
The Parish Council has invited Mr Lefever to address a public meeting to explain what this means for our Parish. The Parish Council have been researching Hastoe, learning about Rural Exception Schemes and visiting similar developments. We have sought information and guidance from the Local Government Public Advisory Service and urge Villagers who would like to comment on this proposal to attend the Village meeting to find out more and give us their views.
The location of the site in question is 2.7 acres of the first field on the right if leaving the Village towards the school, behind the allotments, paddock and pumping station (at the bottom of the hill).
In the meantime more info on Hastoe can be found at hastoe.com
